Can you guarantee the visa?
No, and nobody honestly can. The decision belongs to the consulate. What we control is that the file in front of them is complete, consistent and in the form they expect, which is what most refusals turn on.
Which country should I apply to?
The one you will spend the most time in. Where no single country is the main destination, it is the one you enter first. It is the first thing we work out with you, because applying to the wrong consulate is a refusal on its own.
How long does the whole thing take?
You can apply from six months before travel, and it must be in at least fifteen calendar days before. Most decisions come within fifteen calendar days of the appointment, and up to forty-five where the consulate asks for more. We would rather start months out than weeks.
What does it cost?
A fixed fee for the whole job, agreed in writing before anything starts. The consulate’s own visa fee is separate and is paid to them; we do not add anything to it. We will give you both figures at the first call.
I have been refused before. Is that the end of it?
No. A previous refusal has to be addressed head on rather than hidden, and the new application has to answer the reason that was given. Bring the refusal notice to the first call and we will tell you honestly how it looks.
Do I still have to attend in person?
Usually yes, for fingerprints and a photograph. Once given, biometrics can normally be reused for 59 months, so a second application is lighter than the first.
Is Ireland included?
No. Ireland and Cyprus are in the EU but outside the Schengen area, and need their own visa. If your trip includes either, tell us and we will cover both.
